The Weather-CAM is located in Fairless Hills Pennsylvania. It is currently set
to automatically update the images on this webpage between 6:00 am to 8:30 pm
EST only. However the weather info gathered from the observatory and
displayed on this page will update every 5 minutes, 24 hours a day. The
Weather-CAM can be
24 hours a day, and images
can still be viewed from the camera's control page after hours (although it will
be to dark to see much).
(Note: The camera's downward travel has been limited to a maximum of -20 degrees. If you don't see a new image after you have clicked a preset use your browser's refresh button. The arrow keys work best when the camera is in streaming video mode.)
Addition WebCAMs inside and outside the observatory are also online. These WebCAMs are black & white, low only. Some of them are wireless low resolution cameras and are normally used to monitor the telescope. Also because they are wireless the picture quality is affected by stray RF signals. There is also an All Sky & Meteor that may be camera online between dusk and dawn.
From time to time there may also
be a live feed from one of the
telescopes in the observatory. There is no set schedule for when these feeds
will be available. Updated
